Becoming a Notary in Contra Costa County

There’s no standing CPS HR exam site on the Contra Costa County calendar. Most local students test in Daly City, a straight shot from the western side of the county. You can take the state exam in any California county; your commission follows where you live, not where you test. The list below surfaces the nearest upcoming sessions automatically.

Preparation doesn’t depend on a test site. The 6-hour course is fully online, your certificate prints the instant you finish, and most Contra Costa students book their session only after the course is done.
